Hey! I'm Zach.
I am a simple guy with simple joys in life. I love spending time with my wife and kids, playing guitar, hanging out, and taking lots of photos. My biggest photography goal in life is to take "the photo." You know, the one that makes people slow down and really take it in. The one you hang above your mantle.
From grass-roots beginnings
I got my first digital camera when I got my first cell phone, and it blew my mind that I could take photos and not have to wait three days to develop them! Of course, back in those days, I was trying to nail a MySpace profile photo (you know, with "the angle"). Times have certainly changed, but I do find myself trying to nail a killer profile image, so maybe it's not that different?
